Size guide

Size Guide

Please use the guidelines below to help you choose from our set sizes. As all items are handmade to order by us, we are also able to adapt any patterns for custom, made-to-measure sizing. Simply choose custom size and leave you own measurements in the notes after you add to cart or email us at hello@roseswardrobe.co.uk if you need any more help.

HOW TO MEASURE

When taking measurements the tape should be held flat against the body; it should be held snug enough so not droop, but never so tight as to feel restrictive.

Make sure the tape measure is not twisted. Inches or centimetres is fine.

Do not add wiggle room to your measurements. We will add this for each style. All measurements are “skin measurements”.

A. Bust - all the way round the fullest part of your chest

B. Waist - all the way around at the smallest part of your natural waist.

C. Hips - all the way around at the fullest part.

D. Across back - from shoulder to shoulder, just at back.

E. Arm length - from top of shoulder to wrist.

F. Torso - Nape of neck to Hip.

G. Inside leg - top of inside leg to ankle.

H. Rise - Sit down on a chair and measure from your waist to the chair.

It is the responsibility of the customer to double check your measurements, as these will be the measurements we use to create your bespoke pattern.

Any changes to measurements may incur an amendment fee.
